I Love You, Lord, my strength. Psalm 18:1 ♡
I Love You, Lord. Day and night; In good and bad, On rainy or cloudy days. When prayers are answered, and when they are not. I Love you Lord.
What trials are you facing? Jesus understands your pain and longs to be the One you cling to through good times and bad. You can choose to look elsewhere for comfort, or you can use your hardship as an opportunity to connect with God.
As beautiful as this season is, there is also this emptiness and uncomfortable sadness that, “For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now”.
I have learned and trained myself to worship, praise God, and have a joyful and grateful heart. I have been a soprano worshiper for some time now. As a little girl, I used to pretend my brush was the microphone and sing. Singing karaoke freestyle music with my cousins for fun. In times of cleaning, I pumped up my music and worshiped the Lord. There were times that worship brought me to my knees with the broom or even with my cleaning gloves.
Today's blog, I'd like to ask every reader to stop what they're doing and praise God. Let's Thank God for his continuous favor. Do you remember when you prayed for what you have?
Sometimes we are in so much pain and sorrow, that we have forgotten about his work. Today, I want you to consider stop asking and say: “Thank you. LORD for this process and even when you don't understand, don't ask God to take away your affliction, ask him to give you knowledge and strength to stand firm in prayer and supplication. Today, just say: thank You. Tell him how much you love him.
Can you imagine if your children will ask and ask but not thank you for anything? When you are mad at your children, Do you stop loving them? When they don’t behave or do the things you want, Do you stop Loving them? The answer is, No. But, yet. You still praise them.
“If you then, evil (sinful by nature) as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give what is good and advantageous to those who keep on asking Him”. Matthew 7:11
I have learned in this walk, that my grateful heart, my praise to the Lord, can do more than complaining and asking. I learned that while I worship the Lord, God answered; not because I deserve it, but because of my praise to God.
Let's just say Thank you Lord. In times of trouble, be thankful. Look around, taste and see how good the Lord is. We can have thankful hearts towards our heavenly father even when we do not feel thankful for the circumstances. Maybe, today there is pain and sorrow, maybe grieve but, you can still be thankful.
Let's pray,
Father God, I'm sorry for my sins. Please forgive my ungrateful heart. You are king. There is nothing impossible for you and nothing too big or small for you. I don't want to ask, instead I want to thank you for your favor, Love, Mercy, and forgiveness. Thank you Father God, for our daily bread, thank you for the provision. Thank you for giving us a new opportunity in life. Thank you for your gospel, thank you for the cross. Thank you for family and thank you for friends. Thank you for Israel. Thank you for the leaders. Thank you for our shelter and clothing, thank you because your word is a lamp to our feet. Forgive us Lord, if we have not seen your everyday goodness. I love you, holy spirit. Jesus, Pour your spirit in us. Thank you because you reign above it all, over the universe and over every heart there is no higher name. Every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Thank you, Jesus, I love you. In Jesus name. Amen…..
~Hallelujah ♡
